  • Review of Results from "Standards Palooza" Kshemendra Paul, Program Manager, Information Sharing Environment (PM-ISE) reviewed the results of this second summit conference. held 5 December 2011 in Washington DC (hosted by the PM-ISE).
  • Review of NIEM UML Initial Submission The Initial Submission of the UML Profile for NIEM (NIEM UML) was presented and reviewed by the GovDTF. Comments and recommendations were made.
  • Presentations following up NIEM UML Review A number of presentations were made that followed up the discussions surrounding the review of the NIEM UML Initial Submission, feeding into our Roadmap Session:
    • Model Driven Information Exchange
    • Global Reference Architecture View
    • Enterprise-SOA with SoaML
  • Roadmap Session
    • Provide over-arching contextual definitions for applying standards to governmental in-formation sharing
    • Standards for use in Procurement
    • ISE in the Community of Standards
    • Service Oriented Architecture in the Information Sharing Environment
    • Registry of resources that can be used by tool vendors and users of the tools
    • PIM for identity management.
  • GovDTF's Name Changed The full name of the "Government Domain Task Force" (GovDTF) was changed to the "Government Information Sharing and Services Domain Task Force". It will remain referred to in the short as the "GovDTF" and the document number prefix "gov" will be retained to provide continuity of documentation.

  • RFP: UML Profile for NIEM
    This RFP was issued in the Salt Lake City meeting, June 2011.

    Objectives: The objective of this RFP is to provide a standard for modeling National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) artifacts (Model Package Documents - MPDs) with UML. MPDs include numbered releases, domain updates, and IEPDs

  • RFP: Compentency  Management
    This w
    ork item was originally titled "Skills Management" and begun during the June-2008 TC Meeting in Ottawa. 

    Parties interested in participating should contact the GovDTF Chairs.

    This work item is currently on hold awaiting resources.
     
  • RFP: Records Management Services Version 2
    This work item was initiated in the Costa Rica meeting in June 2009. The RFP was issued in the Long Beach TC meeting in December 2009.

    Objectives:

    • Subsume RMS Version 1.x
    • Create multiple compliance points allowing finer granularity of compliant service provision.
    • Create one or more AttributeProfile specifications. If only one profile is provided it will be of that required to support the extant records management standard DoD 5015.02

    Letter of Intent Deadline: Passed
    Voting List Closed:
    Initial Submission Due 20120220

    The future of this work item is being assessed.
     

  • RFP: Records Management Services Version 1 Test Suite.

    This work item was initiated in the Costa Rica TC meeting in June 2009.

    The US National Archives and Records Administration
    is supporting this follow-on RFP to provide standardized test suites for RMS Version 1.0 implementations. The goal is to enable a first level of Independent Verification & Validation in a procurement, the eventual creation of an RMS Reference Implementation to drive the tests, and the eventual creation of an RMS certification program.

    Work Item is on hold awaiting resources.

  • FTF: Model for Performance-Driven Government
    The Finalization Task Force completed its mission in the Santa Clara CA TC Meeting in December 2010. The Board of Directors adopted the specification at Formal V1.0 Status shortly after the Salt Lake City in June 2011. An RMS V1.1 Revision Task Force has been formed.
     
  • RTF: Model for Performance-driven Government (MPG) V1.1
    This Revision Task Force was chartered to address any issues arising in the implemenation of MPG V1.0. Go to this project page to register any issues concerning this specification.
     
  • RTF: Federal Transition Framework V1.1
    This Revision Task Force was chartered to resolve issues raised against the V1.0 specification, producing V1.1. Go to this project page to register any issues concerning this specification.
     
  • RTF: Records Management Services V1.1
    This Revision Task Force was chartered to address any issues arising in the implemenation of RMS V1.0. Go to this project page to register any issues concerning this specification.
